Join PHDL for on-call snow events, primarily clearing sidewalks, entrances, and pedestrian areas around our commercial properties.
PHDL is looking for dependable part-time help during snow and ice events. This on-call role focuses primarily on sidewalks, entrances, and other pedestrian areas around our commercial properties. Hours vary with the weather and may include early mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends.
What you'll do
- Clear sidewalks, building entrances, and pedestrian areas during snow events
- Operate snowblowers and use shovels safely and efficiently
- Apply salt or ice melt where needed to help maintain safe walking surfaces
- Monitor assigned areas and return for additional clearing when conditions require it
What we're looking for
- Reliable on-call availability when snow or ice is expected
- Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and changing conditions
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a safety-minded approach
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
